Danny Neumann is one of the most well-known gastronomes on the Costa del Sol. A native of Offenbach, he was active on the coast for almost 15 years before his temporary farewell in 2015. His wife, Silke, originally from Rödermark, met Danny in Marbella.

After a six-and-a-half-year break, during which they ran the picturesque Zur Waldschänke beer garden in Silke’s hometown, they returned to the Costa del Sol in the summer of 2022.

Initially, they opened a stall at the Marbella market hall. Under the name Neumann’s Deutsche Fischfeinkost Marbella, Silke and Danny sold select fish specialities from northern Germany. However, as the demand for more German delicacies grew, the market stall in Marbella quickly became too small.

Consequently, after a successful year in Marbella, the Neumann couple decided to rent larger premises. Neumann’s Deutsche Fischfeinkost und Spezialitäten is now located in Calahonda, in the Valdepinos Shopping Centre on Urbanización Calypso, on the A-7 (km 1027). Ample free parking spaces are available.

In addition to smoked fish and fish delicacies, Silke and Danny now offer German charcuterie, ecological meat, German bakery products, and a selection of popular German products such as Maggi-Fixe, Thomy sauces and Knödel, among others.
