Danny Neumann is one of the best-known restaurateurs on the Costa del Sol. Originally from Offenbach, Germany, he spent nearly 15 years working along the coast before taking a temporary break in 2015. His wife, Silke, who comes from Rödermark, met Danny in Marbella.

After a six-and-a-half-year break, during which the couple successfully ran the traditional beer garden Zur Waldschänke in Silke’s hometown, they returned to the Costa del Sol in the summer of 2022.

Their first venture upon returning was a stall in Marbella’s market hall. Under the name Neumann’s Deutsche Fischfeinkost Marbella, Silke and Danny offered selected fish delicacies from Northern Germany. As demand for additional German specialties continued to grow, it quickly became clear that the market stall was no longer large enough to meet their customers’ needs.

Following a successful first year in Marbella, the Neumanns decided to take the next step and move into a larger location.

With great attention to detail, they bring a piece of Germany to the Costa del Sol and invite you to enjoy their specialties on-site. Look forward to homemade currywurst with a flavorful sauce, freshly prepared Leberkäse rolls, a variety of schnitzel dishes—including the classic Wiener Schnitzel, schnitzel with hearty mushroom hunter’s sauce, and the popular Gypsy-style schnitzel—as well as their crispy grilled pork belly roll.

For lovers of smoked fish, there is also a selection of specialties such as hot-smoked salmon, smoked mackerel, and their popular fish sandwiches, all freshly prepared and available to enjoy on-site.

To complement your meal, freshly tapped Paulaner lager is served straight from the barrel—the perfect accompaniment for enjoying authentic German flavors in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.

In addition to their expanded street food menu, you will continue to find a range of traditional German sausages and cold cuts available for takeaway. They also stock a selection of popular German products, including Bautz’ner mustard, Händlmaier sweet mustard, Thomy sauces and mustard, horseradish, Hela curry ketchup, and more.

Their smoked fish is supplied by the renowned Fiedler Fish Smokehouse in Bremerhaven and can be purchased to take away or enjoyed directly on-site.

Their goal is simple: to bring people together, awaken memories of home, and offer authentic German flavors in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

Neumann’s German Street Food and More… is located in Calahonda, in the Urbanisation Calypso, at Centro Comercial Valdepinos, directly on the A-7 (Km 1027).
